Industrial gluing technologies: CF200 PAD-Nordson

The CF200 PAD Nordson Corporation hot melt adhesive dispensing module-Operation guide. From January 1, 2009 on it will be available completely free at Hot Melt-support. It has been disigned with the cooperation of BetaFil-Hot Melt. Perhaps, it will also be available in a paid "box" version. It will include more extensive graphical documentation and vedeos. It will be available both in the Polish and English language, printed and electronic versions. So far the precise release date is unknown. This information is just an announcement note.

This guide includes: An "X" company sends two CF200 PAD modules for repair. The devices operated 12 months in comtinuous spiral application. They were removed from the applicator and replaced with new ones during a scheduled periodic replacement. They did no break down. We disassemble them, analyze the technical condition of seals and other components. We clean it and prepare for regeneration. Then, we ofder spare parts, calculate costs, test proper operation and finally we issue an invoece and send it to the customer. Druing all those steps we'll discuss each part of dispensing module and we'll compare it with others, showing similarities and differences. We'll present various forms of repair depending on their operation system. We'll discuss the problems of hot melt gluing process and its impact on the dispensing module technical condition.. Thus, we will be able to describe how to provide optimum working conditions for the device to provide long, problem-free operation. We'll show youhow to carry out periodic inspections and search for the signs of module break down. We'll see whether the use of compatible spare parts (non-original ones) makes sense.
